Which state would you move to?

Which state would you move to?
If you had the choice...& for what reason? Here are the options- 1) North Carolina-Charlotte, Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) 2) Oklahoma-OK City, Tulsa area 3) Rhode Island-Providence area 4) Massachusetts-Boston area I know these are some pretty extreme areas but I'm looking @ graduate schools/future home locations in the areas. I'm a pretty laid-back, reserved person so this is one reason why...

Depends on what you want. If I were picking, I would take the Triangle. Still a low cost of living (unlike the Northeast), but also becoming a best-of-both-worlds kind of place with Duke, UNC, and Wake Forest all in that area.

1 or 2 if you are basing your decision on your personality

Definitely North Carolina Triangle areas. The reasons are: 1. Best all year around climate than Tulsa, Providence, and Boston area. 2. And most importantly, the employment rate in Triange area is very very low. According to housing market report, as of Sept 2008, the housing price in Raleigh not only did not drop an average(-15%) like other cities in the whole USA, but it(Raleigh) rose ~3% in housing price
