Currently my wife and I are thinking about moving to Charlotte in the upcoming months. I have read a load of comments about pros/cons however I am curious to what current residents of Charlotte think of the area, specifically: Crime Rates School Systems Neighborhoods to look into/and to avoid etc. Thanks

Crime rate is out of this world....and the school system is going thru a major crisis. If you are thinking of moving to Charlotte, think about Concord, Kannapolis, and Hunterville in North Carolina and Rock Hill in South Carolina. Much better areas and cheaper too..........
